| FRIGHT NIGHT VII |
October 2005 : Ozzbest played a storming 2 hour set at the Accrington MCC annual Fright Night on Saturday 29th October in front of a sellout crowd. The huge PA system was cranked up and the heat was almost overbearing as Ozzbest took to the stage. The band opened with a Zombie Stomp, a new song for them and definitely appropriate as zombies, witches and draculas rocked away.
Ozzbest wish to thank the guys at Accrington MCC for organising the event and the crowd for making the gig so special. |

| OUT WITH THE OLD... |
November 2005: Say goodbye to the old website! After 12 months, the band had expanded so much that they needed a new site. With stadium gigs under their belt and a fantastic accoustic set underway, it was time to revamp. The new site features more space to show off the quality images that they have accummulated over the last year.

| OZZBEST APPEAR IN THE DAILY SPORT |
| |
|
|
August 2005: Ozzbest appear in the sauciest of all daily newspapers, The Daily Sport. With topless models Freya and Helen joining them on stage during the soundcheck.
Some comedy snippets:
"Ozzbest had more reason than usual to hammer their throbbing instruments."
"Ozzy lookalike Phil said he'd rather kiss Freya than a bat any day." |

| OZZBEST RECORD SONGS |
August 2005: Ozzbest record 4 new songs: Paranoid, Ultimate Sin, Snowblind & War Pigs. The band are very happy with the results.
"We've really tried to get a retro feel on this recording" says Evil Ellis. "The vocals on Paranoid are exactly 1971".
All the songs have been going down well, with Snowblind featuring an acoustic intro being particulary well recieved.
You can here the songs here. |

| OZZBEST STORM FARMYARD PARTY 18th June 2005 |
June 2005: With onstage acrobatics, 100,000 watts of power and the festival bikers in good voice, Ozzbest rocked Helmsley with a huge headlining set. There was even time to pose with some topless models for coverage in a national newspaper. Unfortunately, after the festival, a huge downpour left much of the festival and the nearby village of Helmsley underwater.
Checkout the gig images [here] and day shots (including topless shots) [here].

| OZZBEST & BLOODSTREAM PLAY THE TAV ON 16th July 2005 |
June 2005: It's party time at the Market Tavern Bradford as the two Bradford heavyweights square up for a party and a half in the name of Petefest. (If you don't know who Pete is, he's a shining example to us all). For the first time in a long time the mighty 'Best will be playing an exclusive Sabbath only set and will include songs recently added to the setlist such as "Snowblind" & "Hand Of Doom". Bloodstream are keen to promote their new CD showcasing the superb talents of vocalist Rob and the aggressive stylings of drummer Goldie. Make sure you come along and bring your mates for some serious riff fuelled mayhem. |

| FINISHING TOUCHES TO NEW RECORDING |
August 2004: The latest recording is nearly finished. Featuring 5 tracks: Crazy Train, Sabbath Bloody Sabbath, Suicide Solution, NIB & Symptom Of The Universe, it should be available for release in September. The band are very excited about the release as it will be the first featuring the new guitarist, Simon. There should be many more live shows in the coming months. Catch the band at a venue near you.

| FOOTBALL TEAM GETS KITTED OUT IN STYLE |

| NEW GUITARIST FOR OZZBEST |
June 2004: Ozzbest gained a new guitarist this month, with Simon filling the shoes of Russ, who regrettably left the band due to other commitments. Simon, who is stalwart of the Bradford music scene has previously appeared in the band Stab Happy with Ozzbest drummer Ed. More recently he could be seen with off-the-wall outfit Idiot Box.
With just a week to learn the songs, Simon marked his debut with a blazing gig at a birthday bash in Peel Park CC. The strictly Black Sabbath affair saw a heavier, fuller sound that proved very popular with the crowd. The band are looking forward to many more live shows. |

| LIVE REVIEW |
May 2004: YOU can’t switch on TV these days without seeing at least one member of the Osbourne family appear on your screen and, being a bit of a Sabbath fan myself but unfortunately never having seen an Ozzy/Black Sabbath tribute band play before, I felt I just had to go along when I heard that the brilliant Ozzbest were appearing at the Dropkick in Low Moor.
I wasn’t quite sure what I expected the actual band to look like; would I see Black Sabbath costumes and a frontman complete with a flowing black and red wig which could have been quite tacky and laughable or would I see a good solid soundalike tribute? Thankfully I saw the latter which was extremely good indeed!
The lead singer who donned a pair of Ozzy glasses just for good measure might not have exactly looked like Ozzy himself but when I closed my eyes I swear it sounded just like the real Mr Osbourne was singing onstage!
There was plenty of funny banter between songs which is sadly lacking in a lot of bands these days.
Ozzbest kicked off with a song that I believe to be from their earlier days called “I Don’t Know” which ironically I don’t know!
As the night wore on the band played more of the more well known numbers such as “Crazy Train” as well as much more recent tracks.
Their lead guitarist played the most excellent solos and I noticed that on the front of the drummers bass drum was a big photo [actually, it's handpainted - Ed] of the real Ozzy Osbourne which was a nice touch.
The band also had their own Ozzbest T-shirts with the Sabbath cross printed on the back.
If you are a fan of Black Sabbath then I definitely urge you to check out Ozzbest at a venue near you because they are well worth a listen!
