How to Create Baptism Invitation Cards

Your invitation cards will always be well received by the guests if they are lovingly created with a lot of heart and soul. It adds a personal touch and the receiver will most likely want to keep it. You can be creative here, and decorate your cards with ribbons or ornaments, for example.

If you make your cards yourself, it means more work than simply buying baptism invitation cards. Making them is worth it, though, it’s not only fun to do but will also remind your guests of the memorable event. Make sure to choose a nice font or handwrite your personalized invitations.

Apart from the external design, the text in and on the card is also of great importance. This should be creative and informative at the same time.

Make sure not to miss any important detail and always include: baby name, parents names, location, time, and date and any special requirements such as dress code or things to bring along.

Ideas for making Baptism Invitation Cards

If you have already decided on a baptismal symbol, such as the baptismal candle, you can also insert this into your card. For a homemade card, you can easily use dried flowers, to create a stunning and unique invitation.

To do this, place them on the front of the card with a string tied together and glue them to it. Alternatively, you can score the card in the middle and stick the flowers in there.

It is best to use clay paper in the color you want for your personalized invite. For this purpose, pink cards are usually used for female gender, and blue colors are traditionally used for male gender. Soft pastel blues and pinks are ideally suited for a baptism invitation card.

They are also easily decorated with adorable ornaments in the form of little sea stars, shells or fish, for example.

Instead of writing the cards by hand, you can design them on the computer and print them out. You can be creative and try out pink and blue font colors to match your card.

If you have a particularly beautiful handwriting, you can of course also write your invitations by hand. Pay attention to using a high quality pen in a nice color, to make your calligraphy stand out even more and avoid smudging.
